What is a magnetic coupling?
A magnetic coupling is a coupling that transfers torque from one shaft, but using a magnetic field rather than a physical mechanical connection.
Magnetic shaft couplings are most often used for liquid pumps and propeller systems, since a static, physical barrier can be placed between the two shafts to separate the fluid from the motor operating in air. Magnetic shaft couplings preclude the use of shaft seals, which Magnetic couplings are also used for ease of maintenance on systems that typically require precision alignment, when physical shaft couplings are used, since they allow a greater off axis error between the motor and driven shaft.
Rafea Company is the only manufacturer of magnetic couplings in the industrial phase, and is proud to make the magnetic couplings in accordance with customer requirements. Rafea Magnetic coupling are classified in ND-X series and Sm-X series.

You can order the Coupling that you are Require and we manufacture customized if you couldn’t find the good one in this catalog. The type of coupling component and size depends on the user’s power and the power of the electromotor. These couplings can be driven by an electro-motor or servo motor. The choice of the driver type depends on the working conditions and customer requirements
ND-X type of Magnetic coupling can be applied up to 150°C.
Category | Model | Operation features |
ND-X | ND-0.5 | 150°C

SM-X type of Magnetic coupling can be used in operation temperature up to 350°C.
Category | Model | Operation features |
SM-X | SM-0.5 | 350°C
